Photo Gallery: Music for the Feast of Christmas 2007

As mentioned in class, here is a link to a Gallery of photographs. The photos were taken by Jon Christian at our 2007 Christmas concerts. Low resolution versions of all are available for you to look at and to order if you would like to purchase them.

Photos are organized and all have a separate ID Number. If you wish to order a photo there is a downloadable order form, or, there will be order form packets available at class. We also have a photo album which Kathy will bring to class, which you can thumb through before class or at break.

Please enjoy looking at these truly marvelous and sensitive pictures - there are many fine examples of all of us focused in moments of great joy. Thank you Jon, for all the hard work you did putting together this body of work.

Spring Semester 2008 Course Requirements

Attendance at:

• Class meetings on Tuesdays, 7-10 p.m.
  
• Sectionals as scheduled by your section leader
• Check the Chorus Calendar for important dates!

This ensemble is comprised of singers of varied backgrounds and strengths. We are brought together by a love of the literature, a desire to sing together and to learn more about our singing voices, and to improve. It is profoundly important to respect one another's abilities and ambitions, to support one another, and to take personal responsibility for being excellent one's self. We also have the responsibility to listen with an open mind and a joyful heart to the corrections given. Ultimately, our job is to perform works with integrity and beauty. The process should include astute preparation on each singer's part so that our time together is productive and pleasurable for us all.

Black Folders

Have you noticed the fancy black folders? Chorus members highly recommend them. Many find it much less tiring to hold music in those folders than in notebook type folders.
